Resources are important for the growth of any nation. Out of all resources that exit, the human resource is undoubtedly the most important one. The best way to exploit human resources is through education, with Science and Engineering education being at the forefront in importance. African countries are plagued with inadequate practical science and technical training. The Dakar American University of Science & Technology (DAUST) aims to address this inadequate training by providing hands-on practical Scientific and Engineering education to students all across Africa.
DAUST aims to develop the future Nikola Tesla, Albert Einstein, Leonardo da Vinci, Cheikh Anta Diop, Thomas Edison, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Elon Musk of Africa.
Beyond pushing the boundaries of science and technological advance, DAUST also puts a special emphasis on responding to Africa’s challenges in key sectors such as agriculture, health, energy, environment, and climate.
