The Dakar American University of Science & Technology (DAUST) has joined with The MathWorks in a three-year initiative to enable more competitive, cutting-edge, and collaborative education for engineering and science students in Senegal and Africa by extension. MathWorks is the leading developer of mathematical computing software for engineers and scientists.

The access and support to the Campus-Wide License will allow DAUST faculty, researchers, students, and affiliates the use of MATLAB, Simulink and more than 100 companion products for teaching, research, and learning. This collaboration also marks the opening of DAUST’s Advanced Simulation and Computing laboratory.
